My “I Could So Live Here” List: My Top 4

Every now again I travel to a place and by the time i leave im thinking  “I Could So Live Here”.  I almost always  enjoy and appreciate every place I visit but, there are only a few places in the world that would actually consider living in.

4. Bali – Legian & Ubub –  Bali is the most Peaceful place I have been to or maybe it’s the place where I have felt in  my most peaceful state of mind.

I love the people, the food, and the rhythm of the day-to-day life there. So you may ask,  if i love it so much then why is it not ranked no.? Well thats because I would not actually like to live there for years on end, but would gladly spend  2-4 months  there every year for the rest of my life:)Bali ——————————————————————————————

3. Medellin, Colombia –  is possibly the most beautiful city in South America! The night my friends and I drove into this city I knew i was going to like it there. After a week or so of  exploring, training,  meeting locals and making friends I realised how comfortable and at home I felt there. …..OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAmedellin …..I  plan to head back to Medellin, in 2015/16 and spend at least a month getting to know the city a little better . If i like it as much as i believe i will then i will consider staying a little longer 🙂

 2. Rio de JaneiroThe ultimate city by the sea. Rio is a beautiful city, full of life, and overflowing with possibilities as it continues to grow every day. Eeach time I have been there and anytime see a picture of this place it brings a smile to my face and i think to my self “I Should So Live there” – The only downside and reason why  Rio is not ranked no. 1 on my list is because of the high level of crime:( ……P1040425-a Rio ….on the flip side, there are 101 upsides to Rio and this is  why I most definatley will be go back in 2015/16, and  I plan to stay a while:)

1. Barcelona –  has been number one on My “I Could So Live Here” List, for 13 years running!. barcelona-city-spain_238844 My type of city, is a city by the sea. Barcelona ticks that box and then some. I like the fact that is a modern yet traditional, has an interesting  history, beautiful architecure and best of all  a decent year round climate. barcelona My brother ( the tall one in the pic above) lived in Barcalona for 2 years  and  I have been to Barcelona maybe 5 or 6 times now. It never gets old. and I still have loads to explore. I could totally see myself  living and even starting a  familysoewhere just outside of the city.

    • Hi there Deanna!
Thanks for checking out my blog! 🙂 your post is great too!

Traveling solo is something I attempted for the first time in 2012 and had I known it would be so all round satisfying and rewarding I would have done it a long long time ago! In my opinion is the best way to travel.

I too keep a travel journal 🙂 it’s a great way to clear your mind and organise my thoughts when traveling solo. I also enjoy reading it once I have finished my travels not only to re live my adventures and lessoned learned but to see if my views and opinions have changed or to see how much i grew and changed along my travel! 🙂
